Cherai Beach
Cherai Beach is located on the island Vypin, Kochi, India. Cherai Beach is just 25 km from Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala and 30 km from the Cochin International Airport. The nearest towns are North Paravur (6 miles) and Kodungallur (10 km) and the nearest station is Aluva (20 km).
The 15 km long golden beach is clean, shallow, and attracts swim and sunbathe. He is one of the few places where you can explore the lagoon (poyil) and ocean are separated only by a few hundred meters. A major festival events Cherai beach tourism in December.
Best season to visit is throughout the year except the rainy season (June-October). Tourists can find resorts and cabins near the beach.
