Thrissur Pooram
 Thrissur Pooram is called "all Pooram Pooram (festival). It is the  largest of all Pooram held in the state of Kerala. The Thrissur Pooram  is held each year in Medam (mid-April to mid May) in accordance with  Malayalam calendar. Pooram Although all have a great influence on the  neighborhoods and surrounding cities, a festival of some require active  participation. Thrissur city is home to 36 hours of the morning of  Pooram, one of the largest collections people and elephants. The richly  decorated elephants, as seen during the Thrissur Pooram, is now  recognized worldwide, and its association with Kerala.
