Sree Chithra Enclave

The Sree Chitra Enclave, New museum staff began operations on 12.11.1993, in memory of Sree Balarama Varma Chithirai Thirunal (1912-1991), the last Maharaja of Travancore. This museum traces the history of Travancore royal family and recalls their valuable contributions. It highlights the key steps in the development of the state of Travancore and its history, geographical and socio-cultural.

                        Opened in 1993, this museum of the history of Travancore royal family and show their personal effects and artefacts. Average old newspapers and records of the events he describes is also exhibited.
